Arsenal-1 Power Infrastructure Project
Overview
One Power’s proposed Arsenal-1 power infrastructure project is a high-voltage power infrastructure installation in Columbus, OH, spanning approximately 38 acres. The project involves a 138kV breaker station and 138kV underground transmission line, which will connect to AEP’s existing Lockbourne-Lemaster transmission line, and has a total capacity of 150MVA. The Arsenal-1 campus is a nearly $1 billion investment that will include 5 million square feet of production space and create more than 4,000 direct jobs by 2035. The project will be regulated by the Ohio Power Siting Board (OPBS), and once approved, the project’s target in-service date is planned for the first quarter of 2026.
