For this week’s Wind View, we’re going behind the scenes with our Corporate Communications Specialist Brittni as she captures footage for our upcoming Day in the Life episode on One Energy’s in-house EMT program. This week’s photos show Brittni filming EMT Instructor Doug as he observes Field Engineer Zhuoran and Technician Taylor administering oxygen to the class manikin affectionately nicknamed “Bob.”

January 31, 2024 – Wind Views | Ohio Energy Project Careers Event

Some might say career events are serious business, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a little fun while you’re at it! 😎

For this week’s Wind View, we’re highlighting a recent high school careers event hosted by the Ohio Energy Project. Representing One Energy at the event were two of our analysts, Bower and Brittany – who had a blast chatting with curious students and educating them on careers in the energy sector.

January 22, 2024 – One Energy Wind Turbine Blade Failure Statement
At approximately 11:55 am today, a wind turbine owned by One Energy experienced a blade failure in Findlay, Ohio. The blade fell directly to the ground below the wind turbine. There were no injuries and no damage beyond One Energy’s property. By 12:00 pm, One Energy personnel were on site to immediately secure the scene and perform a full drone inspection of the wind turbine and site. Out of an abundance of caution, all wind turbines owned by One Energy have been shut down while a preliminary investigation is underway. One Energy will continue to communicate with the public as it has additional information.
