Jereme Kent, Chief Executive Officer

Jereme Kent is the Founder and CEO of One Power Company. Under his leadership, One Power is trailblazing the creation of the customer-centric power grid of the future. At One Power, Mr. Kent has the ultimate responsibility for the safety, quality, overall corporate performance, and strategic growth of the enterprise.

Before founding One Power, Mr. Kent led the construction of some of the world’s premier wind projects. He worked for RMT, M.A. Mortensen, D.H. Blattner, and other large utility-scale wind energy contractors as a field engineer, erection superintendent, and site manager. He has overseen more than a billion dollars in wind turbine construction.

Mr. Kent attended the University of Michigan’s College of Engineering, where he studied Civil Engineering with a focus on construction management. He left Michigan with just one class remaining to help run turbine erection at what was then the world’s largest wind project.

Kent maintains several certifications, including being a Tower Rescue Instructor, a Crane Operator, a Critical Lift Director, and an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician. Mr. Kent has actively participated in every step of the process to develop, engineer, procure, construct, operate, and finance wind energy and high-voltage infrastructure projects. He is a dirty shoes person who has become a clean shoes person (most of the time).

Jereme founded One Power in 2009.

Katie Johnson Treadway, EVP, Chief Regulatory Officer

Katie Treadway currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Regulatory Officer at One Power. Before joining One Power, Ms. Treadway was an Assistant Attorney General at the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, where she represented the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio and the Ohio Power Siting Board at the agency level and before the Supreme Court of Ohio.

At One Power, Ms. Treadway ensures the company remains at the forefront of legal and regulatory issues in the energy arena. She oversees all of One Power’s permitting and regulations on a local, state, and federal level. Ms. Treadway leads the company’s government relations efforts.

Ms. Treadway holds a Juris Doctor degree from Vermont Law School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Otterbein University. She is admitted to the bar in the State of Ohio. Her extensive experience in regulatory affairs, knowledge of energy issues, and commitment to legal compliance and advocacy make her an invaluable asset to One Power.

Katie joined One Power in 2015.

Chelsea Bumb, P.E., EVP, Head of Construction

Chelsea Bumb, P.E., currently serves as Executive Vice President and Head of Construction at One Power. Ms. Bumb is a licensed Professional Engineer responsible for all of One Power’s construction projects and self-perform construction team. She built One Power’s self-perform team and pioneered One Power’s systematic approach to project engineering and construction. Ms. Bumb built more than 30 MW of on-site wind generation facilities, including the three largest behind-the-meter wind projects in the United States.

In her role at One Power, Ms. Bumb’s responsibilities include safety, engineering, procurement, managing construction methods and crews, quality assurance, and commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems. She oversees, trains, and supervises One Power’s Technicians and Field Engineers.

Ms. Bumb holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University. She is a licensed EMT, a tower rescue instructor, and a crane operator. She is the co-author of a United States patent. Her extensive experience in project development, expertise in wind project construction, and commitment to safety and quality assurance make her an invaluable asset to One Power.

Chelsea joined One Power in 2011.

Heidi Tinnesand, EVP, Head of Project Planning

Heidi Tinnesand currently serves as Executive Vice President and Head of Project Planning at One Power. Ms. Tinnesand has nearly two decades of experience in the wind industry across a variety of roles, including positions at Vestas, DNV-GL, and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. She has expertise in leading cross-disciplinary research teams, delivering innovative solutions for wind energy workforce development and resource assessments, evaluating utility-scale wind farms, and designing field measurement campaigns.

In her role at One Power, Ms. Tinnesand leads the Project Planning Team in designing tailored energy strategies that meet each customer’s unique needs. She coordinates technical capabilities across the organization, ensuring that solutions are aligned with both customer requirements and design constraints. Her expertise allows One Power to deliver projects that are efficient, sustainable, and customized to meet the demands of any industry. 

Ms. Tinnesand holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Portland State University and is a member of Tau Beta Pi and Women in Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy. Her extensive experience in the field, combined with her detail-oriented creativity, make her an invaluable asset to One Power. 

Heidi joined One Power in 2024. 

Jessica Grosso, SVP, Head of Technical Development

Jessica Grosso currently serves as Senior Vice President and Head of Technical Development at One Power. Ms. Grosso is One Power’s wind project development and feasibility expert. She developed the algorithms, methods, and processes used to take Wind for Industry projects from the first conception through the project’s groundbreaking. Under her leadership, her team has become the leading developer of on-site wind energy in the United States.

In her role at One Power, Ms. Grosso leads a team of engineers and analysts responsible for all phases of project feasibility evaluations, including wind resource assessment, regulatory compliance, turbine siting, permitting, and other areas of development. Her other responsibilities include developing and implementing project remote monitoring, instrumentation, and on-site data campaigns.

Ms. Grosso holds a Master of Science in Atmospheric Science and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering: Earth Systems Science and Engineering, with a Climate Physics Concentration, both from the University of Michigan. She is a member of the American Meteorological Society and runs One Power’s weather risk team. Her extensive experience in project development, her expertise in wind project feasibility, and her commitment to innovation and technology make her an invaluable asset to One Power.

Jessica joined One Power in 2011.

Anne Bain, VP, Head of Accounting, Controller

Anne’s diverse skillset and varied professional background lend themselves well to her dynamic role as both Controller and Head of Accounting. She brings nearly 30 years of operations, administrative, and financial management experience to her position at One Power.

Early in her career, Anne transitioned from medical school to the world of business, owning and operating her family’s heavy/highway construction enterprise. She has since served in various high-level and demanding roles in operations, finance, and accounting, including Senior Consultant and Finance Director for a healthcare consulting firm, Chief Financial Officer of a home health and hospice agency, and Controller for a law firm.

Anne is a licensed CPA and holds a Masters of Accountancy from Miami University’s Richard T. Farmer Graduate School of Business, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Johns Hopkins University. She began working with One Power in 2018, overseeing annual audits for the One Power family of companies, as well as the implementation of enhanced internal controls and more efficient and streamlined processes.

Anne joined One Power in 2018.

Rich Bohon, SVP, Head of Research and Development

Rich leads a team of professional analysts and problem solvers who are responsible for the strategies and solutions that help our customers become better consumers of energy.

The One Power Energy Services team was assembled early in Ohio’s deregulation history and has used customers’ data coupled with consistent educational practices, proven modeling strategies, and frequent customer interaction to drive savings to our customers’ utility expenses. The vast knowledge and experience of the team members provide the perfect balance between data analytics and business methodology.

Prior to joining One Power, Rich held positions with Lykins Energy Advisors, and Ford Motor Company, and owned his own service company. Rich holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University College of Engineering where he specialized in fluid dynamics.

Rich joined One Power in 2021.
